Evaluation???

Ever wondered what goes around in the mind of the person who evaluates ur project by just looking at it for a mere 2 min....

I just don't get it....we have lost few valuable days of life working day in day out on the project and then someone who is in no way connected to the project comes in and declares that what u have done is crap...

They neither give us enough time to explain what we have done nor are they ready to listen to what we have done...

Either there is something wrong with the evaluation system or I am unable to deliver and impress within the given 2 min....
What ever it is .... I just lost a grade in yet another subject...
Ufffff....

Hi ravi ,

the matter u spent as many hours on ur project if u cant explain it to a person who is not concerned with ur project in a short time then i think it is we who should be taken as the real culprit . You are judged in 10 mins or so for getting selected out here . Do u think that these 10 mins are equalent to ur efforts of 4 years in bachelor's ?? Whatever it is we should put up a good show in those 10 mins , to get our job done . this , is how the industry is , my friend . U get jobs , u get selected to colleges and many more by performances which last for less than 30 mins . Perhaps , the reason for that is , if u cant prove yourself in 10-30 mins then how can one expect you to prove urself in a lifetime . If u cant withstand for 10 mins in front of someone there is no point in proving the world what u are . Rome was not built in a day , keep urself trying one day u will the impress the world .

may be he is totally wrong..
and i think the dialogue is also wrong..
and saying that we are selected based on just a 10min interview performance is also totally wrong..interview is only one among a long list of criteria for selection here..if its the only criteria..i wouldn't have been here..
offcourse demos, presentations and exams which last for a little time are more important..so there is always a chance of feeling bad when you endup with nothing after some good hard work..but at the same time when we are contended and happy with our work..we always feel happy..
grades ni konchem lite ga teesukovadame eppudina best..

yes rome was not built in a day..read that again..i think it somehow doesn't fit into context..anyway good quotes are always nice as they fit in some or other context and good luck for exams

Actually when i said "may be u r right".... i was totally in a baised mood ( just came from Prof.KVD lecture where he discussed a similar situation) but what i actually wanted to ask vissu when he quoted
"Century kottalane sachin prayatnam kuda okka paruguthone modalu autundi "

was that....

"what if sachin is expected to score a run even before he wore pads, or even before he entered the ground?"

May be that is the kind of situation some of us face during the demos....

And yes, the Intreview is a different thing all together..
